The Cultural Services of the French Embassy (Consulate General of France in San Francisco) and the Goethe-Institut in San Francisco present :

At a time when Europe is enlarging, it is key to be well-informed about European issues. To do so, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy (Consulate General of France in San Francisco) and the Goethe-Institut are launching on the West Coast the program Teach Europe. Teach Europe is a two-sessions seminar on October 23rd and 30th designed to provide teachers from High School to University with updated information about the European Union, its multicultural nature, its economy, role and impact on today’s world, and its relations with the United States. It is a unique chance for specialists of the European Union and educators to meet and exchange knowledge and experience. This program also features a general website for the teachers and their students. Pedagogical resources, for direct classroom use, will be given to all participants.

The morning plenary sessions will be conducted in English. The afternoon sessions will be devoted to resources and pedagogic methodology (split session in French and German).
