Teaching in Europe :
"Recognition of Teacher Certification and Teaching Opportunities"

An event organized by the Education Office of the French Embassy, the Goethe-Institut, the Italian Cultural Institute, The British Council and the Education Office of the Spanish Embassy.

"Teach Europe” is a one-day Seminar designed to give the Washington area K-12 language teachers and specialists/educators an update on information and ready-to-use resources to increase their awareness about learning and teaching in Europe.

The Seminar will be devoted to the topic of teacher certification and teaching opportunities in the European countries and also the USA. A morning panel of experts will outline and inform about the necessary paths to follow in order for a teacher to validate their college degrees and teaching credentials in the different European countries, followed by five afternoon workshops that will be designed to present more specific and country-oriented information about certification and degree validation as well as opportunities in the respective countries. There will be also a Country Booth Fair with information on opportunities for teachers to work in Europe.
